I need help finding a movie title. I thought it was something like 'The Prophecy' but can not find it. Plot line is a group of family members gets together at an estate expecting an older family member to pass. They are competiting for the inheritance while they slowly get killed by supernatural forces one by one until only one member gets the 'gift'. Any ideas ?

I have been searching and searching for a movie that I saw in the 70s - probably between 1974-1978 and it was released at Christmas and had a Christmas theme. It seemed like the poster had an eye peeking through a crack in the door. It was so frightening that I did not see another scary movie for years afterwards. I would have sworn that It starred Anthony Hopkins as the killer, but I don't see it listed in any filmography...I also seem to have blocked out the plot as well...

I saw this weird sci-fi movie from the 70s and was wondering if anyone knows which one it is..(Its been bugging me for years!)

So there's 2 guys one middle aged and one old. They're both talking about the first guy's daughter who supposedly has "powers". And the daughter is in the other room playing atari or manipulating the screen with her powers. On the tv is a big green screen and a moving orange square.

The next scene is a flashback from the two guys where the same daughter gets a gun in a wrapped gift box and says "Mom look!" and fires! The mom or aunt is killed- and the flashback ends. I know its not much, but man that was hella disturbing to see as a kid! Help! Thanks!

Robin, it was called Tourist Trap, and Chuck Connors played the old guy. I loved that movie! Thanks for reminding me of it. It's out on DVD now.

Can someone help me figure this out? I remember watching some British mystery/suspense movies late night when I was a kid (late 70's/early 80's--I'm in the US). I think one was called "The Haunted Car", and there were several others that were murder mysteries. I think Linda Day George was in at least one or two of them, but can't find them on her filmography. I'd love to find them on DVD!

I was hoping that someone would know the name of a movie I've been looking for, for a while.

The scene which I best remember is a girl in high school, having a party and she leaves the rave on the first floor because shes tired. She heads up to her bedroom and gets in bed. She lets her hand hang down off the bed, as always for her dog to lick and he does.
In the morning she wakes to find downstairs all her guest are dead and a note which reads something like this; I was the one that licked your fingers; and i think it said something about the dead people and something else about her fingers.

I believe it's a 70-80s horror movie.
please let me know if you find it familiar.
Thanks

I’m looking for a movie done in the 70′s possibley the 60′s. The main character is obsessed with sharks and fights to protect them and reform their image. But they’re caught reacting in a way that is natural to them, the law heads to their owners house who lives in a house that is situated in a bay, where he has access to them through a trap door in his house. the movie ends by him hiding in the water with the sharks who end up being eating him."

I remember this one. Guy wore a medal that kept sharks away (I think). It was given to him by some island dude. In the end, the medal fell off, so he was screwed. Guy was a blond actor, I've seen him around, don't recall his name right now. He must've been in his 40's then. Will try to seek it. Movie name was (or I thought that it was) "Mako" or something similar. Will try to get back with more info.
