Kolchak: The Night Stalker WebsitesGuide to Kolchak: The Night Stalker SitesDarrenMcGavin.net is the official site for the actor who made Kolchak famous. This page provides insights into the history and the origin of the show, and much of it is related directly from the recollections of Mr. McGavin and his wife. Moonstone Books publishes books, comic books, and graphic novels that continue the story of Carl Kolchak. They offer limited editions of some of these books, and this page provides (as near as I can tell) a complete listing for their Kolchak: The Night Stalker offerings. Some of Moonstone's other titles include pulp fiction favorites like The Phantom, The Spider, Doc Savage, and Zorro. Kolchak DVD offers a trailer and synopsis for the DVD featuring the 20 episodes of the original series. I'm pretty sure this is Universal's official site for the DVD release. Thrilling Detective offers a nice history of the character and the series. The page hasn't been updated since March 2005, but I don't think there's been a lot of Carl Kolchak news to report since then anyway. This Kolchak: The Night Stalker Timeline is in no way official, but it's pretty entertaining. It was last updated in January 2006, but most of the Kolchak happenings since then have been related to Moonstone's graphic novels, which aren't a primary focus for this timeline anyway. Broken Sea offers audio productions of their own fan-produced version of the television series. We'll eventually review their productions here too, but I want to make sure I've reviewed all of the actual television episodes first. |
